iCOMBAT Software Update: August 12th
Published on Aug 08, 2014On Tuesday August 12th, a new software update from iCOMBAT for the iCOMBAT Engine is releasing. This new update brings a number of changes, updates, and fixes. Be sure to connect your computer to the internet before opening the iCE software. The updates will automatically install. Your equipment will need to be updated with this release.
IMPORTANT: IF YOU ARE A CURRENT ICOMBAT PROFESSIONAL LICENSEE (TACTICAL OR APOCALYPSE) YOU WILL NEED TO RECREATE YOUR LOG-IN AND ID THROUGH THE BARRACKS. YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO RE-ENTER YOUR BUSINESS INFORMATION. THIS IS ONLY REQUIRED IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A BARRACKS LOG-IN. VISIT http://barracks.
Included in this update:
- Launcher Updates: you can now choose to temporarily skip an update if it requires you to update your equipment
- Dominator now alternates between team colors when neutral and unsupported colors have been fixed
- Licensing Support: licensees can now be requested and managed online at the new Barracks
- Improved support for RFID power level adjustment
- Improved "reload" back into live matches when powering on equipment
- Missions: miscellaneous bug fixes and added mission rules/explanation to drop down menu
- Setup Custom Match: Improved compatibility with lower screen resolutions
- Setup Mission Match: team names now display group name
- Improved match loading times
- Added ability to set indoor/outdoor mode on weapons during match load (adjust in Global Settings)
- Added support for player pictures during ranked play through the new Barracks
- Added support for Apocalypse (High Volume) gaming on iCE, and Apocalypse module on Barracks (Apocalypse license required)
